The prolific attacker has been acquired by the North African outfit from Asante Kotoko for a transfer fee of $200,000, Kickgh.com can confirm.
Libyan Premier League side Al Ahly SC have announced the signing of Ghanaian striker Albert Amoah for their 2025–26 season’s campaign.
The Benghazi-based club have secured the signature of the 23-year-old forward to bolster their attacking options.
Amoah, who featured in Asante Kotoko’s 5-1 embarrassing defeat to Wydad Athletic Club in the CAF Confederation Cup on Friday evening, is expected to arrive in Libya this weekend to undergo a mandatory medical examination, according to Kickgh.com
He arrived at Asante Kotoko last year from Great Olympics and signed a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Amoah became an instant performer for the Porcupine Warriors where he ended the 2024–25 season’s campaign as the club’s top scorer with 15 goals in 29 matches across all competitions.
He played an instrumental role in the club’s FA Cup triumph last season by notching up three goals in four matches.
Amoah netted four goals in six matches for Asante Kotoko in this season’s campaign where he scored twice against Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.
