President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with Nigeria’s newly appointed service chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, marking their first official meeting since appointment.

DAILY POST reports that Tinubu, on Friday, appointed new service chiefs, making sweeping changes in the military leadership.
The Presidency explained that the move was parts of efforts to strengthen the national security architecture.
General Olufemi Oluyede, hitherto the Chief of Army Staff, replaced General Christopher Musa as the Chief of Defence Staff.
Major-General Waidi Shaibu was appointed as the new Chief of Army Staff.
Similarly, Air Vice Marshall S.K Aneke was ned Chief of Air Staff while Rear Admiral I. Abbas is the new Chief of Naval Staff.
