Jubril Gawat, an aide to the governor, took to social media to share the video of the governor testing the roasted plantain and giving it a subtle caption suggesting the governor’s proximity with the people of the state.
Gawat tweeted:
“Governor @jidesanwoolu enjoying his roasted plantain (Boli) 2 days ago at the Grand Finale of the Y2024 World Food Day Celebration, held at Police College, Ikeja Lagos.”

Davido vs Sanwo-Olu’s aide: Lagos governor reacts
Legit earlier reported that Sanwo-Olu of Lagos had teased his media aide, Jubril Gawat, that Davido was looking for him.
Sanwo-Olu made the comment at the inaugural commercial take-off of the recently inaugurated Red Line train in the state.
The governor’s comment followed the recent face-off between the Afro-Beat singer and his aide over Edo state’s just concluded governorship election.
