A source close to the church disclosed that the unidentified kidnappers have not yet contacted the priest’s family or church officials regarding a ransom or motive for the abduction. Concerned parishioners have since organized prayer sessions, seeking divine intervention for his safe return.
When reached for comment, Anambra State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed that no official report of the kidnapping had yet been filed with the police.
