Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that MC Oluomo had emerged as the new National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW. During the election on Saturday, MC Oluomo stood as the sole candidate at the Union’s Zonal Secretariat along the Osogbo/Ikirun road, Osun State.
Speaking after taking the oath of office, MC Oluomo urged the union members to allow peace reign and reiterated his commitment to unity in the union.
Taking to her Instagram page, Regina noted how it ended in praise as she rejoiced with him.

Actress, Rukayat Lawal also congratulated him on his latest win. She prayed that his joy would be permanent.

It isn’t surprising to see MC Oluomo winning the election as he has a kind heart. Last year, MC Oluomo had given out relief packages to Lagos bus drivers and passenger, to help the subsidy removal and high cost of food. He further revealed that the Lagos State government had provided a conducive environment for bus drivers to operate, as well as a reduction of 50% in public transport and yellow bus fares.
In other news, while celebrating his 49th birthday this year, MC Oluomo revealed that last year taught him a life lesson, which was to keep his friends close but those who are truly dedicated and loyal should be drawn closer. MC Oluomo further revealed that he had reflected on so many things and he was using his birthday to rededicate himself to the good course of humanity.
