Oba Ogunwusi was in Akure for the inauguration of Ojaja Park, a new project he has launched to benefit the local community. Following the park’s opening, a “Night of Praise” celebration took place, which added a ceremonial and festive atmosphere to the proceedings. Queen Naomi, along with Prince Tadenikawo and several of the Ooni’s other wives, also attended the event.
In a touching video from the gathering, Oba Ogunwusi was seen interacting with Prophetess Naomi as she held their son. This public reunion was notable, especially since Prophetess Naomi had publicly announced in December 2021 her decision to end her three-year marriage to the monarch.
