The effort is spearheaded by Eniade Damilare, who has brought together key figures, including former Osun State House of Assembly member Olawuwo Hassan, APC State Auditor Aliu Akinloye, and other party leaders, to promote unity and strengthen the party ahead of the election.
During a strategy meeting in Ikirun, Eniade emphasised the importance of unity, positivity, and consistent mobilisation of state residents to support the APC, particularly in preparation for the 2026 governorship race.
“I can assure you that our party will defeat Adeleke in 2026. This is why I am mobilising youths for this move. We are a party to beat. We have won Edo and Ondo states. Ekiti and Osun states will not be exempted. As we begin our strategic moves to galvanise the party, victory is sure, and we are going to defeat Adeleke in 2026,” Eniade said.
Olawuwo, addressing party members, noted that the APC’s state leadership had become more united and stronger than it was in 2022.
“This strategic meeting and mobilisation of youths led by Eniade will further strengthen the party for victory. He is leading the move, and this will pay our party in future. I want to admonish other leaders of the party to start this kind of move in other federal constituencies,” Olawuwo stated.
