The festive season approaches, there has been a noticeable surge in the demand for cooking gas, which has put upward pressure on prices.

Additionally, transportation costs have risen due to poor road conditions and increasing fuel prices, particularly affecting the northern regions of the country. These logistical challenges are contributing to the overall price hike.

Global LPG prices have also played a pivotal role in the domestic price changes.

Nigeria’s heavy reliance on imports for a substantial portion of its LPG supply has made the local market vulnerable to international price fluctuations.
