In another development, the State Working Committee has resolved to enforce the earlier suspension of the chairmen of Ganye, Toungo, and Girei Local Governments. The Vice Chairmen of these councils will act as chairmen until further notice.
However, following interventions by party leaders, the suspension of the chairmen of Guyuk, Demsa, and Shelleng Local Governments has been reversed.
The party has also lifted the suspension of five Ward Chairmen and one State Exco in Mayobelwa Local Government Area, reinstating them to their various offices with immediate effect.
Furthermore, the State Working Committee has ratified a Disciplinary Committee to investigate State Ex-office Saidu Naira and State Assistant Auditor Dauda Mark for issuing a press statement that allegedly misinformed party members and brought ridicule to the party.
The party has also constituted two other committees aimed at repositioning the party. The State Working Committee commended the Leader of the Party in the State and National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for his efforts in repositioning the party and tackling insecurity in the country.
Additionally, the party applauded the efforts of the Members of the Party Reconciliation Committee and expressed confidence in their assignment. A letter of commendation has also been written to the National Vice Chairman, North East, Comr. Mustapha Salihu PhD, for his welfare package to all Ward, Local Government, and State Executives of the Party.
