Blaze Newz gathered that Igbotele, a farm settlement under Ijabe with less than 200 residents benefited intertwine micro projects from Osun State Government through Osun Community and Social Development Agency (Osun-CSDA).

The project which is construction of VIP toilet, drilling and reticulation of motorized borehole cost Eighth million, sixty eight thousand, seven hundred and sixteen naira ( N8,068.716), inclusion with Igbotele-Ijabe community counterpart fund of Four hundred and three thousand, four hundred and thirty five naira, eighth kobo (N403,435,8).

Speaking to Blaze Newz during a visitation to Igbotele community on Thursday, an octogenarian ,Mustapha Lawal, said he is happy to witness the life changing project.

Lawal, who said he was born and grew up in Igbotele-Ijabe said his late father alongside others lived in the community during their life time without such facilities.

The over 150-year old community according to the octogenarian can now boast of having access to portable water and VIP toilet, saying this will also improve their health.

“Our wives and children fear of being attacked by wild animals and evil people along river road has been put to end” Lawal said.

Also, a 40-year old teacher and member of the community, Yusuf Murtadha, in his comment about the project said Governor Adeleke amazed them despite their merger population.

Murtadha, who also claimed to be a farmer noted that the water project will aid them during irrigation period and will also increase their farm produce.

Another resident, who simply identified herself as Iya Imran, appreciated Governor Adeleke and Osun-CSDA over the project.

Iya Imran who prayed for continuous divine guidance for Governor Adeleke stressed that “We can now make use of water for house shores with ease.”

But ,Jamiu Mustapha, a middle age man appealed to Governor Adeleke to help them in equipping the only Primary Health Care, PHC, centre in Ilapata with human, medical equipment and drugs.

Mustapha told Blaze Newz that they move to Ilapata, a neighboring community to get medical treatment at the not functioning enough PHC or to main city of Ijabe.
