According to eyewitnesses, the NYSC members were kidnapped by some police officers who then demanded a ransom of N10 million from their relatives. Unfortunately, the kidnappers succeeded in collecting the ransom.
This incident is a stark reminder of the insecurity and corruption that plagues our country. It’s unacceptable that those sworn to protect us are involved in such heinous crimes.
