A photograph has emerged of Michael Nzekwe, the Chief of Staff to the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede, reportedly addressing a former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and his successor, Governor Usman Ododo, at the premises of the anti-graft agency in Abuja......See Full Story>>.....See Full Story>>
According to information made available to The Eagle Online, it was taken when Bello went to attend to the summons of the EFCC.
The release of the photograph followed the drama that attended the showing up of Bello at the headquarters of the EFCC after he was declared wanted by the anti-graft agency.
While the Yahaya Bello Media Office said the former governor was not attended to by operatives of the EFCC until he left with Ododo, the anti-graft agency said he remains wanted.
A few hours later, the Yahaya Bello informed the media that operatives of the EFCC stormed the Kogi State Government Lodge in Abuja to forcefully arrest the governor at night.
They were, however, unable to arrest him.
