Adamu was reportedly in possession of 264 pieces of Diamond Rubber Solution, a substance often abused by hoodlums and drug addicts within the Bauchi metropolis.
Confirming the arrest on Tuesday, the Command’s spokesperson, SP Ahmed Wakil, disclosed to journalists that the suspect was apprehended in Bayan-Gari, a slum area in the metropolis.
“Upon his arrest, Adamu was found with 19 bottles of ‘Suck and Die,’ each containing 30ml, along with 363 empty bottles,” Wakil revealed.
During interrogation, the suspect was said to have admitted to working for a supplier and receiving payment for selling the substances.
He further disclosed that each bottle of ‘Suck and Die’ was sold for N300, while a single piece of diamond rubber solution was priced at N250.
