He was accompanied by his deputy, Rt. Hon.Dennis Idahosa, the senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshimhole and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Edo State, Jarrett Tenebe.
Okpebholo, who addressed Uzodinma in Imo State capital, claimed both the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II and God’s blessings.
He thanked the governor for playing a crucial role in his victory.
“We are here to thank you with our leader, Adams Oshiomhole, and my party’s deputy and state chairman,” Adams Oshiomhole said.
”We contested election, and by his grace, we have won the election. The next step is to develop Edo State, and we are happy to share this with you.
“We have the blessings of the Oba of Benin and the blessings of God.” We’re here to thank you, Okpebholo said.
Governor Uzodimma responded by saying he will continue to support Okpebholo in his effort to provide Edo state with good governance.
The Progressives Governors Forum’s Chairman, Uzodinma, expressed his happiness at welcoming Okpebholo to the PGF.
