The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board has released the shortlist of candidates for the next stage of its recruitment exercise.
Naija News reports that the development was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, on Wednesday in Abuja.
The recruitment exercise covers four paramilitary agencies, the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
According to the statement, applicants are expected to log on to the official portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm if they have been shortlisted.
“From Thursday, October 30, 2025, candidates are to check if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise, as well as centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Shortlisted candidates are further requested to take note of the venue, date, as well as time scheduled for the CBT,” Jubril said.
Jubril, in the statement, warned applicants to ensure they use the correct portal address and avoid falling victim to fraudsters.
Earlier in August, Naija News reported that no fewer than 1,911,141 Nigerians had applied for the recruitment exercise before the application portal closed on Monday, August 11.

They were closely followed by Kano and Niger, with the five states collectively accounting for 510,174 applications.
At the lower end, Bayelsa (11,669), Lagos (14,216), Rivers (22,210), Ebonyi (23,601), and Delta (27,962) together submitted 99,658 applications.
