I don’t know what lawyers are earning now but I know it’s within the range, not up to a million Naira; Let me put it in context for you
I learnt four skills when I was in my late 20s and since then, for the past ten to twelve years, I have earned N1m minimum every single month. My name is Anuli Enemuo
Now this is what I want to say to you, university education is good, I will get all my children to go to school, however university education is not enough to get you to where you want to be.
I need you to start thinking in the form of skills. You need to learn high quality paying skills.
Why I am saying this to people is because I know Masters holders that are working in the bakery, that are doing care jobs taking care of people that can’t take care of themselves, taking care of people, cleaning them up.
Now, I am not suggesting that it is the kind of job you can get, but I am saying to you understand that in the world today, these 4 skills made me a millionaire when I was still in my 20s
And it’s not that you will become perfect the first day. Every single day, you have to practice the skill until it becomes second nature.
You need a high value skill, your education is no longer enough to get you where you want to be
Up till today, those skills still help me, through which I make N1m minimum every single month. Here are they:
Digital Marketing
With digital marketing, you sell in the online space, using social media marketing, email marketing etc.
Sales
No matter what condition of life, you are in, you are selling something. The question is, how are you selling it?.
Sales is literally giving people value and getting something in return.
If I am offering you value, I can get your money and both of us are happy, right?
Content creation
You can create things like this and share value. Whether I am dancing, whatever I am involved in, putting it in a digital form, whatever the system, I have to learn how to content-create.
You charge people to create content, but I have never really charged people to create content but I have to learn to create content for myself, so that I can coach my clients to learn to be able to do that for their business.
Copy writing
Copy writing is the art of persuasion, it is to be able to sell something. To do that, you have to send an email through your email list.
Though I studied law, copy writing is something I learnt in the law school and it has been helping me.
There are so many other high paying skills but these are the four that I have learnt, that I have been using in the past decades that I still use to make money today.
