The Avocado Banana Smoothie is one of the most nutritious smoothies that is both keto-friendly and extremely healthy.
Before we go into the benefits of this easy smoothie, let’s look at how to create it.
How to Make a Homemade Avocado
Banana Smoothie.
The ingredients needed are: bananas, (2) riped and fresh; avocado, (1) riped, tender and medium size; Milk and honey (optional).
Process.
Pour the banana and avocado into the blender after cutting or slicing them into blendable sizes. Pour in your milk (about one-half or one cup). You might want to add honey if that’s your thing. Now combine all of the ingredients in a blender and voila, your smoothie is ready.
If you want to make this smoothie commercially, add a spoonful of vanilla extract and choose between soy or almond milk.
Serving.
This smoothie is best served chilled, but it can also be served warm. You may keep it in the fridge for up to 3 hours, or just add ice cubes to make a drink.
Avocado Banana Smoothie Health Benefits.
As previously noted, both fruits are high in nutrients that are in short supply.
They provide a considerable amount of potassium, magnesium, calcium, vitamins, and dietary fiber, making the smoothie both tasty and nutritious. The following are some of the advantages of drinking the smoothie:
1. Potassium supplementation improves blood flow and lowers the risk of heart disease. It also improves cognitive abilities such as learning, reasoning, and remembering.
2. Avocados and bananas are cholesterol-free fruits.
Caution.
Because of the high potassium and magnesium of both fruits, we recommend drinking this smoothie twice or three times per week to keep your kidneys healthy.
However, if you have a renal condition, consult your nutritionist first before drinking the product. This is very important.
